An Evening at the Rahab's Sisters Drop In located in Saints Peter & Paul

Some of the Team 3 volunteers, This group has been coming every Friday night for at least 5 years.  Actually all of our teams have members that have been supporting Rahab's Sisters by volunteering for 4, 5 and 6 years.  It is these women who make this ministry happen week after week.

Carbs for our Sisters

Resource Table has bus schedules, an up to date list of community resources, brochures for other drop in centers or activities that our Sisters may be interested in and a journal in which they can note thoughts, ideas, prayer requests etc.

Mar 18th was a very busy evening, 30 of our Sisters dropped in for a meal, conversation, gently used clothing and personal products.  The women pictured are members of Team 3.

 

Mother's Tea

The 2011 Mother's Tea benefiting Rahab's Sisters will be May 8 at St. John's Episcopal in Milwaukie (google map).  In addition to a lovely tea there will be plants available for purchase as well as art pieces, a raffle and other events.  Admission is by packaged underwear, stockings or cash.  Plan on attending, it will be a good time.
